WebGL & Three.js

Updated: Jul 17, 2019

WebGL (Web Graphics Library) is a JavaScript API for rendering interactive 3D and 2D graphics within any compatible web browser without the use of plug-ins. WebGL does so by introducing an API that closely conforms to OpenGL ES 2.0 that can be used in HTML5 canvas elements.

Three.js is a JavaScript 3D Library which makes WebGL simpler. During this session, we will see how todays browsers harness the power of a GPU. We will also have a look at real life implementations of webGL. If web development is your thing and you enjoy nice looking graphics, this is the session for you.
